Illustration Friday: Moon

La Luna Llena
"La Luna Llena" means "full moon" for the non-spanish speakers.
I've experimenting more with textures. Tell me what you think.

I love this! It could so easily be a charming poster in someone's kitchen. Excellent job!

I think it's perfect. The moon has a very cute face - that's more important than texture for me ;-)

Hey John,

I moved to Muscatine in 5th grade, and my family still lives there. I'm not sure if I've ever been to Joy, IL.

So you speak Spanish as well? Where did you learn? I lived in Argentina for a couple of years after high school, pero ahí aprendí el castellano. No se dice "español" en la Argentina.

Love the painterly/sketchy style of of your work. How do you go about getting the sketchy lines? Do you use a certain brush or pencil, or is it digital?
