I did an illustration for the Oct 15 issue of Wine Spectator for a readers' poll on best wine values.
Note in the sketch I have the hand holding the bowl of the glass. I learned that you should only hold the glass by the stem. So I changed it in the final.

Iron Orchard CD Design

CD design for my friend Bill Harroun's band, Iron Orchard. Apparently the name Iron Orchard refers to ancient rusting machinery out in the field.

I kept seeing mention that people liked the "old" logo better. But I never heard anyone mention the original logo.

I dug up a photo and copied it.

Seattle Met: Shorter Short Sales

Appuie sur le Champignon

I was inspired to create a poster based on a phrase my French friend David told me: “Appuies sur le champignon.” It literally means “Step on the mushroom” but translates to “Put the pedal to the metal.” I thought this would look good in a kid’s bedroom, to help them get out of bed in the morning.

Iron Orchard: Band logos

I'm designing a logo for my friend Bill's country band, Iron Orchard. Apparently, an "Iron Orchard" is jargon for rusty machinery, often seen scattered around midwestern farms.
